I created THE BAN around a question that is impossible to keep at a distance: If saving humanity required obedience to an unbearable law, how many people would still believe they were doing the right thing?

Creative origin

THE BAN began with a moral dilemma: What happens when humanity’s survival demands the sacrifice of its most private freedom? The story turns that global question into an intimate human conflict.

Tone

The novel avoids neon spectacle and images of collapse. Its future is plausible, procedural, intimate - and quietly catastrophic.
